The Public Agencies IPM Exchange
The Public Agencies IPM Exchange was formed in response to meetings held in 2004 by regional IPM coordinators in the San Francisco Bay Area. These meetings identified the need for regional cooperation and resource sharing between local agency IPM programs. IPM Exchange participants include public agency IPM coordinators and pest managers as well as agricultural commissioners and professional pest control operators. Public Agencies IPM Exchange meetings were held April 21, 2005, December 6, 2005, June 27, 2006, April 26, 2007, and December 12, 2007 (field trip).
The Public Agencies IPM Exchange goals are to:
- Identify training needs/coordination
- Share information, experiences and knowledge
- Share resources (approved lists, products, methods, etc.)
- Focused discussions on specific ways to make IPM work
